Well for the first week which was training camp, we all stayed at Speedy our mechanics house for a week in Kutztown Pennsylvania (PA)
Followed by a race in Kirwood PA on the weekend in which the team road awesomely well and I took a solo victory!
Myself & team mate Richard Geng from Germany, are the two foreigners on the team. We are living together while we are here, so it's nice to go training together & keep each other company.
We then stayed at another team mates house in Pottstown PA for a week. Stefan Kincaid (Geronimo) & wife Jill, who were awesome.
Raced a race on Sat in Walkersville. The team road awesome together to lead out Bobby Lea for the win. The next day we had a race in Pinecone NJ, which I won in a two man breakaway, in the coldest conditions I havr ever raced or ridden in, I almost keeled over, it was so cold. Then after that we race moved in with another team mate, Jonathan Erdelyi, & girl friend Jo in Bradley Beach NJ, for two weeks. Went to New York while I was there which was interesting. Had two races while in NJ when I was at Jons; at the Cherry Blossom race we had a 4th on Sat, with Richard Sprinting for fourth, & a 1st & 2nd on Sun. With first place going to Jon & second to Stephan.
After the second race we moved back to Topton PA to compete in another race, & live at Bobby Leas for two weeks.
The next weekend we had a two day 3 stage Tour, called Tour of Ephrata.
Road Race was on sat which Bobby won, myself 5th Richard 8th. We were in an 8 man break & lead Bobby out for the win, which was an awesome result out of a field of 100.
Sun Morning we had the TT (time trial) which no one in the team did well in and that afternoon we had a criterium in the town of Epherata, which we smashed, with myself going off the front for most of the race, & to have Booby win the sprint. Which placed Bobby in 2nd overall
While staying at Bobby's Richard & I had the use of his car, while he was away to race at Speed Week. It was great to do some touring around PA, & to scope out some good training places with Bobby living 5 mins down the road from our housing in Kutztown.
We then drove to DC which was 4.5hr for a race there called Crystal City which goes around the Pentagon. I had to pull out dew to illness.
Right after the race we went across to Indianapolis which was the most boring 10 hr drive ever. Arrived at 3:30am to stay at a team mates house for a few days.
Then another 10 hour drive to Arkansas, for a race called the Joe Martin stage race two days later.
After that we have another stage race called Tour of Arkansas.
There will Student housing in Kutztown PA where we will live from 21 May onwards, unless we are on Tour. Most of the students will be gone as it will be summer holidays.
After that our next major race is Philly Week in the first week of June.
